Kaos Times - Spring 2008

All rested and refreshed from the annual Kaos family holiday, this year to Southern India, Kim & Neula are all set for another busy year (or they will be when they stop hiding in their rooms and trying to deny the holiday is over).

Los Kaos had a great start to the year with the polar bear branching into education with shows for the BT Young Scientist of the year, W5 Science Centre and Cambridge University Science Festival. Clients have been happily surprised by the 'Power of the Bear' (which will be the title our book on personal development & finding your inner bear...) to draw a young audience and hold them even when we start telling them facts and the sort of thing that normally has them turned off in seconds; what's more they come back to all three shows!

Right now we are getting ready for our attendance at the RSVP trade show in the Business Design Centre, Islington, London on the 2nd & 3rd April, please come and find us on stand F12 on the upper floor; through a door, behind the stairs, near the bins... probably - good space costs LOTS of money, and we quite frankly have better things to spend it on! Spot Felix & Felix on walkabout throughout the show (look out for the Penny Farthings) and they will direct you to somewhere you can find an adult to talk to seriously about booking and that sort of thing.

Our holiday allowed us some time to talk over new ideas so there are several new acts in the pipeline, but for this year look out for our second Polar Bear, Nanuk; he is presently 'denning' in the workshop and we expect him to be taking his first steps into the wild some time in the summer.

Oh, and congratulations to Tom Rugg who this month made his debut appearance as Arthur, our second Polar Bear handler. He managed not only a splendid performance but also two radio interviews about climate change at the same time. Apparently he has written a song about Bjorn, so we look forward to hearing that!
