Kaos Times - Spring 2010
I always tend to feel that the street theatre year starts in April/May due to the natural rhythm of our workload and the tendency to write off January to April as quiet season, so here we are once more, happy new year!
April was pleasingly busy for us with Bjorn providing a visual reminder to London's office workers during national environmental education project Green Office Week.
Felix&Felix having a wonderful weekend days of steam and shipping heritage at the Chatham historical Dockyard.
Maisy had an outing too, as a friendly dragon at Maidstone's lovely family St Georges day event where she disgraced herself by scrounging for burgers and crashing our peoples picnics.
May sees Bjorn returning to the National Atlanataquarium in Galway, Ireland which should be a great trip, - everything goes fine travelling in Ireland if you just double the time that RouteFinder estimates for any journey! Hopefully we'll get to catch some more wonderful local music and a Guinness or two, (but no more, no one likes a bear with a sore head).
Our fallow months have not been unproductive, as well as doing all the essential bits like going on holiday to sunny countries, (its tough you know) and the boring bits like maintaining the equipment we have also been cracking on with our next amazing project which we can now tell you all about...
We are making DINOSAURS!!! At last a long awaited dream begins to take form, and the form it is taking is a Stegosaur. We have assembled a great team of people to help us realise this show and have ploughed a lot of time into getting it right - Neula has even completed a palaeontology course to give us a wider understanding of our show and for expert advice the World Museum in Liverpool is on hand. The Stegosaur will be a classic Los Kaos puppet with the puppeteer entirely enclosed within the dinosaur giving lifelike movements and sound for a wonderfully realistic experience!
The new show will be taking a similar format to the Polar Bear show - like a live nature documentary with real well researched facts and a 'real' dinosaur to get hands on with! Our expected completion time is mid September so look out for pics and gigs from then.
Other exciting developments include the first proper adult involvement in the company in the form of our new administrator, Susie who is bringing an experienced eye to our office and whipping that paperwork into line sharpish! What did we ever do without her?

Back for more shopping Bjorn will be looking for a summer outfit.

A fine excuse for a gentleman to let his hair down.
Margate Big Event - 19th/20th June
Maisy will be enjoying a weekend by the sea.

Back once again by popular demand to the street where Motzart composed his first symphony aged 8...

A high class event for high class gentleman Felix&Felix will be very at home.

Looks like a brilliant event and a great excuse to get up close to a polar bear!

Brian and Maisy will be grazing the hanging baskets of Holt during this lovely event.
Girl Guides Centenary Event - 4th August
Bjorn will be learning how to light fires without matches, camping under the stars and doing good deeds all day...
Preston - 7th August
There simply is no finer summer cycling than that available to a Gentleman in Preston.
